Campus Sursee

POWER Kit
2023

Objective:
With this project, Campus Sursee aimed to monitor, optimize and control the flow of electricity throughout the entire site in real time. The challenge here was to integrate a wide variety of measuring points, such as 4 PV systems with solar logs or a 16kV electricity metering system.

Realisation:
First, a measurement concept was developed and all relevant measurement points were successfully integrated. Subsequently, all measuring points were displayed homogeneously in the applications to enable clear visualization. Real-time monitoring has been successfully implemented to optimize the energy flows in the area. The next step, the targeted control of loads, is currently in preparation. These measures will not only enable more efficient use of energy, but also targeted control to compensate for fluctuations and optimize costs.

Key figures

  • 640,000 kWh (640 MWh) PV annual production (approx. 20% of electricity demand)
  • 4,500 m2 PV roof area
  • 3,200,000 kWh (3.2 GWh) annual electricity consumption
  • PV production will be further expanded

“aliunid has expertly integrated the various measuring points into its platform and created a real-time overview that we didn’t have before. It’s incredible what real-time data makes possible – we look forward to controlling!”
