To calculate the current Swiss electricity mix and the associated CO₂ emissions, we take into account current electricity production as well as electricity exchanges with neighboring countries. We obtain the corresponding data from ENTSO-E and Swissgrid.

The basis for the CO₂ emissions of the individual types of production is mostly the latest status report of the IPCC.
